Today: we welcome Brother Finnian SSF as our preacher, who will tell us about his vocation as a Franciscan.
The Grand Draw: tickets for the Grand Draw are available from Ian Greenidge.
Christmas Carol Concert: 6pm on Sunday 16th December. Followed by mulled wine and mince pies and the Grand Draw.
St Alban’s Singers: the next concert will be given at 7.30pm on Wednesday 19th December.
Patronal Festival: this year’s Patronal Festival will be on Sunday 24th June. The cost is £15 (children £10). Please sign up with Gwen. Please pay immediately for your place to be confirmed. The list is now open to extra guests.
St Albans’ Singers: the next concert, entitled ‘The London I Love’, will be held at 7.30pm on Saturday 7th July.
Walsingham 2018: the weekend of Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September in 2018. Places are still available.
This Sunday: Fr Reg Bushau SSC will be our Preacher and Celebrant. Our old friend Alan Littell will substitute for Charles on the organ. Many thanks to them both for their help.

Fr Stuart: thanks you for your kind expressions of sympathy following the death of his father. The funeral will take place in Yorkshire on either 1st or 8th June. Your continued prayers are much appreciated.

St Alban’s Singers: many thanks to Charles, John, Nadia and Gwen for their musical and culinary efforts to make last Saturday’s concert such a successful and enjoyable occasion.
Today: we welcome Fr Paul Benfield SSC as our Preacher. Fr Paul is the Registrar of the Diocese of Blackburn and the Chairman of the Catholic Group in General Synod.
Ilford Hospital Chapel: Fr Stuart is celebrating the 12.35pm Eucharist at the Chapel this Thursday 22nd March. Please join us if you are able.
PCC: meets next on 25th March after Mass to receive and approve the 2017 accounts.
PCC: the PCC meets briefly after Mass today to arrange dates for the APCM and for receiving and approving the 2017 accounts.
Lent Appeal: this Lent we are raising money for the Nando’s appeal for the relief of malaria.
Coach Trip to Rochester Cathedral: we plan a visit to Rochester Cathedral for Mass and a tour on Saturday 24th March. The cost is £30, which includes admission, a guided tour and the return coach journey. We will leave Ilford at 9.15am and depart from Rochester at 4.00pm. Places still available. St Alban’s Singers: the next concert will be on Saturday 17th March 2018. Admission will be £5 on the door.
This week: no midweek masses this week as Fr Stuart is on leave.
PCC: today’s PCC meeting has been postponed until Sunday 11th March. We will then meet briefly to arrange dates for the APCM and for receiving and approving the annual accounts.

Candlemass: the list for our annual fundraising for church requisites is at the back of church.
Volunteers Needed!!:we urgently need extra help on Saturday mornings to keep the Coffee Morning and cleaning schedule going. If you can spare 2 hours once a month to help us keep this important community resource alive, please speak to Ivy or Kathy or Fr Stuart.
Women’s Fellowship Group: meets next after Mass on Wednesday 31st January. All are welcome.
